Girls at risk given a hand with Retorno’s outreach and prevention programs.

12, April 2016: Global success rates for addiction recovery facilities vary anywhere from 10% to 70%. What remains the same is the difficulty in convincing addicts to enter a treatment program.

Retorno is expanding its outreach efforts. In the coming year, Retorno plans to accept 40 new girls into their outreach programs, which include: therapeutic horseback riding (individually and in groups); animal assisted therapy; one-on-one conversations with outreach professionals; group therapy; individual therapy.

To finance these outreach programs, Retorno has teamed up with 25 organizations the world over who deal with youth at risk by joining the Pomegranate Day of Giving for Youth on April 12, 2016. It’s an all-or-nothing fundraising campaign whose purpose is not only to fund crucial programs for all the organizations involved but also to make a loud statement that the Jewish community cares about its kids and is willing to do something about it.

Retorno is the largest Jewish organization in the world for the prevention and treatment of addictions. Over the last 27 years, Retorno has rehabilitatedover a thousand Jews from communities around the world, with a success rate of over 60%.
